To the north of the village lies Lake Ainsworth only a few metres from the surf. It's tea tree waters are a favourite sailboading, canoeing and swimming spot. Stay for the day or camp overnight in the regulated caravan park.
The temperature in Lennox Head on average, ranges from 19 to 32 degrees in the height of summer. In winter 11 to 26 degrees.
Lennox Head is only 15 minutes drive to Ballina Airport and only an hours drive to the Goldcoast.
